Grant and I drove up on Thursday, August 13, 2015, to join Jeffery & Dorothy and their extended family for a long weekend of camping in Taylorsville, CA, along Indian Creek. It was perfect weather! Warm days for swimming and playing in the water, cold nights for bundling up. The Perseid meteor showers were great on Thursday (the best) and Friday nights. Grant and I slept under the stars the first night, but it was mighty chilly, so we slept in the tipi the 2nd night.
Jeffery and Dorothy hosted and went early to set up the group area, the quiet area, large Diana family area, and the motor home for Barbara and Kathleen. The rest of the family filled in the spaces between. It was a grand time! By the way, if you want to see more photos, Dorothy's blog site is
